AaJu
Hello! I’ve started a restoration with this Hudson. As far as I know, it hasn’t been moved since World War II. I live in Finland so the car has even been in the war; it has some bullet holes left. After the war it just have been in the barn. Because of that, there osn’t any documents or titles left. Can any one here help me indentifying the manufacturing year? Car model is probably Super Six Brougham and VIN number is 679520. The manufacturing year would help me a lot for finding the correct titles from National Archive. Huge thanks, Aatu
Layden B
This should help to identify your 1926 Hudson.
StillOutThere
There is a Hudson forum and you would do well to post this there as well. Enjoy your restoration. Great car.
AaJu
Thank you so much, it really helps me. And yes, I put the car also on the Hudson forum. I think this really is quite rare and interesting one.
AaJu
I just carry on a bit yet. I’ve a question about the engine numbering. Does anyone know how was the engine numbers running on those days?

The Standard Catalog only says the engine number is to be found on the left side of the block.
