Correct paint for the ‘57 Retractable

When I ran the numbers for the Retractable, I discovered it should be coral sand and colonial white like this model. The seats were brown also.

I couldn’t believe it when a saw an ad inline for this from Target. (They have several classic model cars, which I didn’t know.

Of course I had to have it even though I kept one dad has in black and red. Later on I found some notes he made when he broke down the numbers and it was the same info I had come up with. I was glad I got it right and it was like he was telling me I did well. 😂

I think Sun Star has a reputation for making very fine models. I'd like to buy one of those, too...but in a year I'd have a hundred of them in my basement. Congrats on the model.

I literally got rid of at least a hundred dad had. I’m shocked I bought another one. 😂

I like the colors on your real car better.   I think girls on pink cars look way better than guys in pink cars.  IMHO

I like the color it is now better also. I was a bit surprised my dad had it also, but he appreciates the design and always wanted one.

PS Love the Ranchero. My dad tried to give me a 60’s version in High School and I passed. I would have liked a ‘57. :)
