Anyone notice that the left front fender says "Eldoardo?"  Either way, nice car in a nice color.

LOL!

OK, that's it, I'm out on this one.

Or am I?

Cadillac achieved an apex with the 1967-'70 Eldorado, set a standard that made the various following many series repeated disappointments.

It looks like 2 separate units. A tape player on the left  and a graphic equalizer on the right.

I think this dark color combination would really benefit from a nice set of white wall tires.

Agree on tires Greg.  I cannot imagine bws as standard on these.

The trim is a bit of a bummer, if it was an easy fix, it would be done.

But still, smashing color combo on this body style!

As difficult as it is to believe, whitewalls were still optional, but I don't recall ever seeing one back then without them.

Nope, I missed it but that’s the thing with painters... No matter how well they do — that’s all they know how to do.

Without exception. (No offense to any painter.)

Heck, I’d leave it just to see if anyone noticed.

WOW!!  That car looks very nice in pictures. It's not more than 10 minutes from me.  Maybe I'll go over there and kick tires.

Cars are generally not as nice in person as what you see in pictures.  The best example is seeing awesome paint work but you go and put your paint meter up to the body panel and the meter reading is off the charts!   I recently got stung on a car that needed more mechanical work that I could have anticipated.  The car is back on it feet from all that work and runs great.  So when I look at these things online I become very skeptical and ask myself what is the buyer not saying in the ad!  What parts of the car are not pictured and why?

Old cars; you gotta love em!!!

Deac, maybe you need an Eldorado in your collection!

Or at least report back here to our forum members on

what you find.

I'm sure you'll be respectful of the seller's time since

none of us appear to be actual buyers at this time.

But the seller might appreciate the extra coverage

he is getting on this forum.

I love that car. Seems like a great price on a solid and iconic vehicle.

Nope, they don't have spell-check for car badging. And anyway, when I type out "Eldorado" my spell check says I'm wrong. 😃 That's actually true for a lot of car models. Mine even tells me that El Dorado is wrong.

It looks to be Atlantis Blue Firemist metallic, an optional color.  If not, it's most likely Admiralty Blue metallic, which I believe is identical to my 1968's Emperor Blue metallic.
