The 14 baby grand is an H model Chevrolet. There is an H model chapter of the Chevrolet club and there is at least one large collection of parts that will be liquidated shortly. Contact me by email and I will give you the contact info. H model Chevrolets used two different rear ends. One was an open drive shaft the other closed. Why do you believe the differential under it now in incorrect?

Because there was no axle underneath, we put a 55 chevy under it to move it. Other then that the car is in very nice original condition.

The rear extension on the transmission will show you which rear end and drive shaft you need (Hotchkiss or torque tube)..
