shifting linkage for a1964 Ford Galaxie top loader 4 speed

Will the shifting rods from a Mustang 4 speed top loader transmission fit?

Going on past experience with a friends 66 Galaxy with a factory four speed and my old 66 Fairlane with a Mustang toploader, there may be a difference in case length and the shifter mounting point. If there is, the linkage may be too long or short. Here is a link to a place with great 4 speed info for all makes.
