Sure looks like a Century, but Buick didn't make a 60-series business coupe. I wonder why the seller thinks it is. Definitely a project, but it sounds like the seller is open to suggestions.

No offense to Special owners, but the key here is - is it a Century series 6o car.  That would be the 2nd year for it and they are rare.  That would make it more desirable to restore - again no disrespect to Special owners but it seems there are a lot more Specials and with the Century you get, well the ability to go a Century in speed...

Sure looks like a low-buck from Lubbock 1937 Buick Hybrid if you look at how the rear tires fit the wheel opening . . . the longer Century body on the 4"-shorter Special chassis.

I think that's the perspective of the photos. Special and Century body shells are the same. The extra 4" of the Century is in the hood due to the longer 320 engine.
