I'm gearing up to build a phantom woodie out of my 1948 Plymouth business coupe. It will use wood applied the the sheet metal of the car as used on the Ford Sportsman, 1948 Nash woodie and 1949 Town and Country. It would be immensely helpful to see photos of restorations of any of these cars to see how the were constructed. I'd just as soon not recreate the wheel for this build!

William, are you planing to apply the wood to the sheetmetal, like they offered on 1948 Chevrolets with the Fleetline Country Club kit or are you talking removing your sheetmetal and getting down to the structure as "new old wood" has pictured?
