For Sale: 1940 LaSale Convertible Coupe, Model 52, (torpedo back), body #224, of 425 built. Last year LaSalle was produced. Authentically matches build sheet received from Cadillac Historical Section. Off road in 1958 with 35K miles showing, origianl engine, top(tan w/black piping), black (primer now), highly optioned with power antenna, power top, factory directional signals, grill guard, runs and drives great. New WWW tires and new hup caps. Restoration in progress. Can email photos of current status of restoration. Many extra '40 LaSalle convertible parts included. According to the recently published book "LaSalle - Cadillac's Companion Car" only 23 of these model 52s have been found and documented.
