Carroll_1
These doors were in the attic with the parts that came with my 1917 & 1921 REO's I recently bought. Since the REO's are touring models with soft tops I know they don't belong with the REO's. Based on a little research of the the window regulators, hinges, and latches, I think they are Ford Model A doors, but I don't have any Ford experience. The doors measure 29" wide, 46.5" tall on the hinge side, 48" on the latch side. The window openings are 24.75" wide top and bottom, 18" tall on the latch side, 17.25" tall on the hinge side. The hinges are located, measured starting from the bottom of the door, at 9", 26", and 42". Am I close to correct?
Dave Mellor NJ
Your doors were originally made for the 26-27 Model T coupe or Tudor then were carried over for the 28-29 ModelA pickup. They are in high demand for the A pickup and good examples bring $500 or more apiece
Carroll_1
Dave, I appreciate the quick reply. I'll take another look through my parts. I think I saw some exterior door handles in the parts crates that I knew weren't REO. There may be more pieces in there that I missed. Once I get them sorted I'll list them for sale. Thanks again.
