Brass is Best 1,787
Looks like a big circa 1910 touring.
AHa 528
Not necessarily a barrel hood. Many cars of the period used a rounded top hood. The front seat might be a better indicator. Most cars of this vintage had divided bucket seats. This seat is only slightly divided. It is a large car of 12/15 vintage, identified by left hand drive. The short cowling will also help with identity. It looks similar to a Locomobile but I don't believe it is. One other thing, I don't believe this is a period photo. The background and the man's position makes me think this is a stage photo. Edited August 18, 2020 by AHa (see edit history)
Layden B 130
Paper Moon Real car used as a photographers prop, painted background. Probably not a barrel hood, just the rounded top of a hood that has straight sides.
dibarlaw 1,896
My opinion is that it may be a circa 1910 Pope Hartford. The negative may have peen printed in reverse since nearly all cars of this vintage were right hand drive.

I don't think the negative is reversed. Look at his boutonniere.
dibarlaw 1,896
Tinindian: The plot thickens... Yes the button hole would be on the left lapel. Also looks to have a cigar in the breast pocket. So early circa 1910 car with left hand steering.
