STAYGOLD
Trying to figure out if these two pieces are "knobs" from a piece of furniture or some sort of trim or finish pieces for an automobile. I recently acquired these with a large batch of automotive emblems, hood ornaments and related items. Each piece measures 1 3/4" in diameter from the backside. They are also about 1 1/4" deep. The pieces are both die-cast and are fairly heavy for their size. Both are slightly surface pitted as well. These are both very well made and do have some age, and the screws that are in them are not long enough to go through a piece of wood and then still screw into the socket of the knob. I think these were off some sort of vehicle, maybe ornaments on a grille or something. Any help or ideas would be great. Thanks.
