Body style questions

Recommended Posts

Guest

I just joined your club and I have a few questions about body styles. I want to buy a 1926-30 DB roadster or a body style simular to a roadster. Is a cabriolet simular to a roadster? Are ther other body styles simular to the roadster? I do not care if it has a back seat or not. I do want the car to have a folding top and 2 doors. Any comments would be appreciated.

I read you message and I will try to answer your question.

During the 1920?s there were basically three body styles with folding tops

The touring car which is a four door convertible, no roll up door windows.

The roadster, a two door convertible, no roll up door windows.

The cabriolet, a two door convertible, with roll up door windows.

Well I hope this helps.

Thanks for the reply. With that being the case. I am looking for a 26-29 DB roadster or cabriolet. Any info would be appreciated. I plan to keep this car as original as possible. I have no use for street rods. Thanks
