Matt Harwood
Do you think these are the same part? Lincoln K V12 timing gear: Ford V8 timing gear: Obviously without measurements, there's no way to know from photos, but the Lincoln part costs $75 and the Ford part costs $20. I figure that since I have my engine out, I should probably replace something as fragile as a fiber timing gear (and you'll note that Lincoln timing gear is damaged at the bottom anyway). Is there any way to cross-reference the parts or does anyone know if there's interchangeability there? Would a Hollander manual have this kind of data? Can anyone help? Thanks! Gunner
Looks to me that the Ford gear has more teeth.

jrbartlett
Given the different number of teeth, there's no way you can use these on anything other than the type of engine they were originally made for.
