Anyone have a picture of their car at dusk with their headlights on here is a 1930's and it looks great showing the sculpturing of the radiator and fenders

Of course Ed has to show us all up. ;)

The headlights in my T aren’t working. And to be fair and honest, this was the first photo of a car I found with the lights on while it was dark out. It could have easily been a Pierce or Caddy.

Here is another picture from the Gaslight Tour

which our AACA region used to have.  Cars

such as this 1910 Cadillac would get ready at dusk

and then parade through town at dark with their

headlights, cowl lights, and taillights lit.

Can you imagine stopping at the auto parts store

and asking for new wicks for the headlights?

My guess is that you are still O.K., Walter. After all, taken literally, your headlights are on. Cool picture. In case there is a little mission creep, here are a couple more pics of the same 1927 Cadillac as earlier :

I can confirm that every light bulb in the car is 100% functional.

Finally.

It's always a challenge to get electricity to flow up hill against the pull of gravity! I'm probably going to regret giving you a hard time, as I have three difficult cars I'm working on now.............

It's in old cars' nature to be difficult and spiteful. They are the meanest of old, mean things. I often joke that there are 100 murderers in my showroom waiting for me to turn my back just long enough...

An unexpected bonus of my bus is all the optional lights Uncle Sam ordered.  Finally, I got all the original lights working on the correct circuits again... no more parking lights on all the time!

And I just have to share this shot a friend took during a spontaneous night photo shoot.  My ‘51 Brill waits at a country crossing for a 1925 St. Louis Car Co. streetcar to pass.
