Mark Gregory
This a 1931 Reo Royale like mine but the owner is a Reo Member who has put tremendous work into refurbishing his car. I like the way the radiator and fenders are accented by the lights. 4

John_S_in_Penna
Our AACA region used to put on a Gaslight Tour, where at dusk the cars would light their lights and then go at dark for a parade around town. This Ford Model T was among the participants. It is actually HER car, and her father rode along:

And to be fair and honest, this was the first photo of a car I found with the lights on while it was dark out. It could have easily been a Pierce or Caddy. John_S_in_Penna
Here is another picture from the Gaslight Tour which our AACA region used to have. Cars such as this 1910 Cadillac would get ready at dusk and then parade through town at dark with their headlights, cowl lights, and taillights lit. Can you imagine stopping at the auto parts store and asking for new wicks for the headlights?

W_Higgins
The headlamps are on but you can't see them or the radiator. Hopefully it still meets the requirements.
C Carl
My guess is that you are still O.K., Walter. After all, taken literally, your headlights are on. Cool picture. In case there is a little mission creep, here are a couple more pics of the same 1927 Cadillac as earlier :
Terry Harper
Not dusk but the headlights are on! I would have loved to get a dusk shot or night shot - headlights on and a lick of blue flame popping out the exhaust stack. However, time constraints nixed that! They are the meanest of old, mean things. Brill_C-37M_Bus
An unexpected bonus of my bus is all the optional lights Uncle Sam ordered. Finally, I got all the original lights working on the correct circuits again... no more parking lights on all the time! And I just have to share this shot a friend took during a spontaneous night photo shoot. My ‘51 Brill waits at a country crossing for a 1925 St. Louis Car Co. streetcar to pass. -Steven
