Is this reatta worth it?

Recommended Posts

It's a $700 car........ what do you expect?    Does it have a good interior?  Looks like the body is straight and all the glass is good.

If you put a used motor in it what would that cost?   $1000  now you have $1700 in it and there will probably be other things it needs.

It is a 30 year old car.    Only buy it if you want a Reatta.     Or take the $1700 and see what you can buy....probably nothing equal.

It is an early 88. So that’s rarer too. Depends on how much you like it and want too have one like has been said already.

Because it's "rare" doesn't make the car a value (especially in this condition).

If it was a blown head gasket the car should still start. I am betting the current owner is not car knowledgable and that what is needed is a crank sensor. However it really is a parts car with new tires.
