Buick35
I decided to connect my heater box on my 35 Buick with new hoses and bracket and hose clamps. It had been bypassed by a short hose going from the top to the lower connection by the front of the engine.Anyway after getting it all connected after its warmed up the heater leaks from somewhere! I really don't need it,especially now.My question is until I can get the heater core repaired, which way do I turn the valve attached to the top heater hose to stop the water going into the heater? Backed all the way out or turned all the way in? With the short bypass hose installed it was turned in.Thanks,Greg.
Guest
Any heater shut off I have ever seen is screwed in when off and out when on, just like any tap.
