Plumbinguy Posted July 21, 2020 Posted July 21, 2020 Looking for a pic of the tool kit contents. I believe I have all original contents other than the pocket knife. I think I saw that it was a small Swiss army knife. I'd like to replace with original.
Garnet & Gold Posted July 21, 2020 Posted July 21, 2020 Here you go, brand new never used tool kit. Bob
Hemi Dude Posted July 21, 2020 Posted July 21, 2020 (edited) I carry and use this pocket knife all the time, it is very handy. Edited July 21, 2020 by Hemi Dude Added wording below photo (see edit history)
Plumbinguy Posted July 22, 2020 Author Posted July 22, 2020 Thanx for your reply! Doesn't appear to be a swiss product, any idea the manufacturer?
Garnet & Gold Posted July 22, 2020 Posted July 22, 2020 Made in Switzerland by a company named Wenger.

If you were looking for their trademark on the red plastic exterior, you might possibly ‘think’ that it has been worn off? Or is that beyond your comprehension?
Plumbinguy Posted July 22, 2020 Author Posted July 22, 2020 I saw another copy of that knife with a insignia that I couldn't quite make out. Your comment was Un-necessarily insulting. Thanx for your response.
Hemi Dude Posted July 22, 2020 Posted July 22, 2020 I understand fully your comment. I also saw the other example of this knife with the difficult to see insignia on it. It was my intention to display the various ‘blades’ that the original knife should have, nothing else. You are aware of the definition of ‘assume’, are you not?
Plumbinguy Posted July 22, 2020 Author Posted July 22, 2020 I do appreciate knowing the original contents of the knife. That information was important as well. I thank you for that information.
Plumbinguy Posted July 22, 2020 Author Posted July 22, 2020 Also I am aware you are battling the virus. I hope you completely recover, and that you and yours are well!

For the most part, I have recovered with just a little loss of reserve strength. 2
marty mopar Posted July 24, 2020 Posted July 24, 2020 (edited) I used that toolkit to rebuild my engine but had to guess on the torque specs. Edited July 24, 2020 by marty mopar (see edit history) 1
Plumbinguy Posted July 24, 2020 Author Posted July 24, 2020 Really. That's quite interesting, I questioned the quality of those tools. 1
marty mopar Posted August 11, 2020 Posted August 11, 2020 (edited) I am also rebuilding the economy in the USA using those same tools Edited August 11, 2020 by marty mopar all of the tools I used have broken and now trying to use Craftsman tools (see edit history) 1
wild bill Posted August 15, 2020 Posted August 15, 2020 Here is one of my tool kits. Notice the screwdriver is a plain, side says W. Germany, knife says Wenger and Switzerland, tire gauge was made in England. Gloves and leather case smell new. Hopefully will solve some problems if not world peace.
Plumbinguy Posted August 15, 2020 Author Posted August 15, 2020 Thanx for info. My kit has all but the knife. Seems it should be replaceable easily enough. Thanx again!

That screwdriver blade should pull out, and the other end be a phillips.
