1941 Wrecker Yard

Found among the photos at Shorpy.com is this shot of an unknown wrecker yard in 1941.  I suspect that most of these vehicles were melted down for metal in the war effort. With only "Plymouth", "Graham", and "Studebaker" areas seen, the actual size of this lot must have been enormous.

Benefits of AACA Membership.

I see an Auburn right in the front.  Even in a yard this big, like I think it was on the road, it was rare to see an Auburn.

need the rear fenders off of the Graham in front under the sign. Oh, but for goin back to those "metal" days!
