Need recommendations for Vacuum tank repair/restoration or replacements.... I want to keep car original and not use a fuel pump. I believe its a Stewart Warner Thanks

use a cork gasket - restorationstuff.com I believe has them or https://straight-eight.com/product/stewart-warner-vacuum-fuel-pump-cover-gasket/

 

Do not manhandle anything - be careful with all fittings take your time on assembly/reassembly 

 

Not much more too this - they are pretty simple

 

For specialized advise you need to tell us what kind of car you have and a picture helps too (ex. if too close to an exhaust manifold you may need a heat shield).

 

Some parts are die cast and some parts are steel - poorly cared for tanks may need some replacement pieces.
