PKUPMAN53 Posted June 26, 2020 Share Posted June 26, 2020 (edited) This is a completely original 1962 Mercury Meteor custom two-door sedan. It has a 221 V8 with a 3-speed automatic transmission. This was Ford’s original small block. This car features original paint and interior. In fact, the interior had seat covers on it from new and the upholstery is damn near perfect. The original dealer’s sticker is still on the trunk lid. It was originally sold in Allentown PA. Engine compartment is all original paint with a lot of the original decals still intact. All numbers match. This car won It’s first historical preservation award (HPOF) at the AACA fall Hershey show in 2019. Starts, runs, drives great. 70,000 original miles. No rust. Original wheels with bias-ply tires are also included.  I’ve owned this car for almost 10 years and I’ve never seen another one like it. Ford Fairlanes everywhere - but you’ll be the only Meteor at the show. I hate to let it go but I just don’t use it that much anymore. Call email or text. A very nice car.
