Glad you are taking on the task of saving a rare Buick. 

Buick specs shows there were only 10,506 made and probably only a small percentage had A/C in 1958.

Just noticed the other compressor on the right side....does that mean this car had the rare air bag suspension?

There is a 1958 Roadmaster 75 in a junkyard about 20 miles from my house, most of the left rear quarter stainless trim is in pretty good shape. This car also had the air compressor with power steering pump attached to it, large air tank mounted below metal shield in front of  radiator area.

You will have to find a perfect trunk lid (good luck) or fabricate a patch.
