Why use an expensive K & N when Wix is available at NAPA as their Gold line part number 1049.  BEFORE installing it fill it with oil so you don't do a "dry" start.

I use K&N HP 2003 on mine... yes a little pricey and prob quality-wise similar to WIX. Just avoid FRAM with whatever you choose.

A long time neighbor of mine owned a small taxi company just outside Baltimore City in Parkville. Forrest told me he used rolls of toilet paper in the canister type oil filter holder. I believe him as the gent was not a man to kid around. Although this anecdotal evidence it is what Forrest told me.
