There was one F/S in similar condition like this in southern MN last fall asking $ 8,000. I called on the second day of the C/L ad and it was spoken for. A subsequent call Days later confirmed the sale went through.

Were the blinds an actual option from the factory or an owner accessory? Quite unique.

since we've already determined there wer at leaste two, not "unique."  But an uncommon accessory, also offered by other makes.  I've seen a 47 Packard with the rear window fitted, as listed in accessory literature.

For the post called DOUG 845:  An ARIZONA plate will cost per year with Arizona DMV a fraction of the price as compared to registration of the vehicle with California's DMV. Also the car insurance will be much cheaper for an Arizona car as compared to California liability & collision insurance.  If you are even smarter you could register your vehicle in SC where the registration is so cheap that a $1 million Ferrari will be $20 a year while in CA it likely will be more than you paid for your wedding party for your 2nd marriage.  If you have a TRUCK it is even more cheaper to register in Arizona because in CA truck owners pay big money for registration of their vehicle. Only in LA can you get in a car accident and within 2 minutes five Latino men will run to your car with both a recommendation for a tow truck to tow your car away and a recommendation for a lawyer to sue. If you play your cards correctly they will even have a fresh and tasty taco plate with a soda delivered to you while you  wait for the  tow truck to arrive.

This Studebaker is a neat rare car. I have a 1949 Champion 4 door. They are nice cars, and this car is a beauty
