oldstyle
Hello all, I picked up a 66 and I'm trying to fix a few things. I've owned 3 of these cars so far and they are my favorite Riviera. It's been 17 years since the last one so it's been awhile. 1) I seem to be missing the part that sticks out and hits the door latch. What does it look like? I'm wondering if I can replace it. 2) I'm also missing the clips that hold the driver seat switch together. Anyone have an extra for sale or pic of what I'm missing? Thanks for the help, Raul Edited May 16, 2020 by oldstyle no longer need hubcap (see edit history)
PWB
Mr. Raul There seems to be a missing shaft from your handle which are available but maybe the shafts need trimming? The switch clips may be found in salvage yards out west. Heres a pic of mine. Just type in PO2 for your search for caps. Theres an NOS base set on sale now for a bargain! $699. https://www.ebay.com/itm/1970-72-gm-Chevy-nos-camaro-chevelle-nova-impala-hub-caps-ss-z28-po2-turbine/114099019707?hash=item1a90d4dfbb:g:RDIAAOSw9SVeOeYS Edited May 15, 2020 by PWB (see edit history)
1965rivgs
Hi Paul, Beautiful set of caps... but they are described as 14 inch. Did Chevrolet manufacture these "Corvette" caps in 14 inch size for lesser models? I know Buick manufactured there mag style caps in both 14 and 15 inch sizes. PWB
Oooops. There are both sizes out there. Just swap the center caps. I paid more for my set. Mint ones are very rare.

Chevy did offer 14 and 15 inch sizes. They were an option on the early 70's Chevelle which utilized 14 inch wheels. Pat
telriv
Which clips are you looking for??? The ones that hold the wires to the switch or the ones that secure the actual switch itself to the housing???

I can see what I’m missing now. Doesn’t look like the bar that hits the latch was threaded. JB weld might work.
