Transporter

Recommended Posts

I'm looking for recommendations from the members here for a transporter (closed) to pick up a vehicle that I just purchased in NC  and deliver to NY.

Thanks

Steve

Hey Martin..... it's a 1969 Chevrolet Bel Air sedan.... all original.... with just 13,000 miles. It has the 250 6 cylinder with a three speed on the column.  Oh, it's Frost Green like my others.

This broker is good. Payment on a car I bought in Kenosha, WI cleared on Thursday, the car was in my garage near Rochester, NY Saturday morning at 10 AM. Friendly driver, non-running car swapped to a smaller flatbed in a Walmart parking lot.  http://getitdonetransportation.net/

He found the car was not running in a residential neighborhood and got a local tow shop to move it to his truck. The owner had told me it had a bad knock. I figured it had to run to make the knock, assumptions.

$600 or $650, something like that. I know I gave the driver a $50 tip. He paid attention to my car and pointed out interesting stuff he had seen from underneath. Good experience all around

I used Jim from TrulyVintage. Jim advertises on this forum under the shipping / transport section. He did a great job moving my car from Florida and I met him in Arizona.

Good luck

Hi Kevin,

Was this your Mustang I picked up in Florida in June of 2018 and hauled to Arizona  ?

Yes it is Jim. I have sold this car and bought a 2008 Shelby GT. Thanks for the great service.
