Window molding 1920's Hudson back side window

Does anyone know a source for this kind of molding.  It went between the window and outer frame

to stop water.  I measure it to be 5/16 square.  It was held in with nails.

I once had a similar damaged part and was thinking of getting two L angles and making a channel out them. LI over lapping the bottom leg.

It might require some filing to equal out the sides ? Or chiseling the wood to recess the angles.
