1935 production numbers?

Recommended Posts

Hi all, I recently bought a 1935 Series 50 Business Coupe (model 56) and was wondering if anyone could tell me how many were made in that body style?

Benefits of AACA Membership.

If it's a 56 (no rumble seat) they built 257.

If it's a 56-S with a rumble seat, they built 268.

Either way, a VERY rare car. Nice!

It's just a regular 'ol 56, no rumble seat.  Thanks for the quick reply!

It may be just a regular 'ol 56, but what a neat car! Congratulations. Also, please post more pictures when you get a chance.

Where did you find this good looking 35-56 ?   I have a 35-58 cause I couldn't find a 35-56.     I'm a coupe guy so I'm jealous.    A two door -58  was as close as I could find.       ? still have  the mechanical brakes ?

Hi Jim, I bought it from a dealer friend of mine. That's his Hodges Hauler in the photos, pretty nice setup! 🤩

Very nice car, and it looks unmolested. Nice lines, and probably a good little driver. I have never driven the smaller series Buicks, but their big brothers are fantastic cars, and I expect that this would be a very nice weekend ride. Ed
