please look at picture    the badge seems to be aluminum     originally it was just the screw attached  to the badge,  I found the washer which is tin    I ground the screw head flat     now looking for best way to attach the screw  to badge     tried   JB weld   came off    looking for help--better epoxy--THANKS

CoolChem makes a glue that works great for all kinds of repairs for a reasonable cost. I use it on multiple items and have great results. I repair car /truck plastic dashes Toy trains and other things as needed. Be carful when using on plastic , it uses an acetone accelerator to instantly dry the glue so some plastics do not like it. Once the glue dries you can build a strength layer with the material.

I too tried JBweld and it has worked well for most applications. When it doesn't I use Locktite marine epoxy. hasn't failed me yet. Just follow the instuctions. 24 hrs min

JB weld should have worked on a low stress application like this.  Make surer the surfaces are squeaky clean and reoughed up a bit.
