Seller's Description:

Beautiful 1963 Mercury Monterey , With big V8 power, and distinct features (like the breezeway rear window), this is a nice classic offered for a value price. Inside, the factory-correct interior that is next to perfect. This car is the 'custom' model, so it has upgraded interior. So you instantly get the sense that this is an upper class classic. When you sit down, you immediately see plenty of stylized bright work across the dash. Everything you want is in working order. That not only means the full gauge package, but also the details like the heat/defrost and AM radio. So it really feels like a time capsule. This one also has the power operated breezeway rear window that people are going to love to see at the car shows. And when you drive down the road the wind flows through the interior.

This is a very well sorted out original car. One older repaint in the correct rose color. Recently had $4,000 worth of maintenance. Ready to put the family in and drive.
Recent / new - Tires, brakes, brake master cylinder, exhaust manifold reseal, tune up, new fuel tank, sending unit, Fuel pump, rebuilt carburetor, battery, transmission service, coolant flush and color matched seat belts.
Heater & defroster works great.
390 v8, automatic, power steering and power brakes.
$11,500 obo

Would go along well with that 2 door Breezeway recently posted.  Well, it is a more door, so that will limit it to passionate nostalgic folks, not younger.  I am 56, was born in 1964 so this car would have been seen as cool - or not - but folks in their late 60's.  Perhaps someone does buy it in that area of the country who is looking to retire and enjoy the hobby.  Then, at $10K or so, this car would surely provide some pastime enjoyment of the hobby.

I love the colors and matching interior.
