Turbine Tech Posted December 25, 2020 Share Posted December 25, 2020 Does your original engine have the crank drilled through at the pilot bushing hole to feed the fluid drive ? If it does , the replacement engine must be that way or the fluid coupling won't get any oil. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
c49er Posted December 25, 2020 Share Posted December 25, 2020 His engine is not the oil fed Hy-Drive torque converter engine. His car uses the 8 hole crank 230 engine with the typical Fluid Drive coupling and 3 speed trans.
