Anyone have any info on such a thing. 1989 4 cyl turbo Thanks. The signal from the distributor 'pickup' is sent to the ECU "SMEC" which brings the whole system to life, so to speak. That signal is also used to activate the tachometer, however you are possibly thinking of the small, removable circuit board, that is part of the instrument cluster. If you were to ask a particular question, an answer might be forthcoming.
