Pete Phillips
Rebuilding a 1954 two-speed PowerFlite transmission from my 1954 Chrysler Imperial. Looking for another torque converter. Transmission shop says the one on it is too deteriorated from sitting for decades to bother rebuilding. Anybody have one? skyler
pete, I see you got no answer. this should be an easy part to get from the wrecking yard. lots of 54 Chryslers around in them. there is a place called imperial heaven, not sure of the website but easy to find. all the powerflites were the same, so it does not have to be off an imperial.i have a 54 Windsor convertible and I am a big fan of 54 Chryslers. I had a 53 imperial, but sold it to get my convertible. good luck. dennis
