Delco distributor 4052 to ID

I don't think it's Nash, they used Auto-Lite parts for their dual ignition 8's.

I could not find " Delco-Remy 4052" in my Chilton part books of 1927 - 1937 but some V16's were close:

Cad V16's  1930, 31 D-R 4057,  1932 D-R 4093D, 1933 D-R 4111

Marmon V16 1931, 32 Delco Remy #4084.

What other cars of that period had dual ignition 8's or V16's?

It is listed in the large Delco manual and I have a listing of the parts used, group 24 if I remember correctly.   (looked it up this morning and have had a lot going on since)   The manual calls for a  twin 6 rotor, not the twin 8 rotor used by Stutz.   Without spending hours going through each application,,  I'm guessing a twin 6 truck or possibly a marine application

I was, it seems, a bit too casual in my inspection of this! Inside is a 6 lobe cam with a rotor marked 2 spark 6 cylinder. Appears that someone put an 8 cylinder 2 spark cap on it.

With a lack of listings in Delco automotive books, I am going to suggest that in addition to truck or marine it could be foreign. Once upon a time I had a 6 cylinder double distributor Delco unit that turned out to be Hispano-Suiza.
