Period images to relieve some of the stress

The photo that Dave ( 30 Dodge panel) posted of the Ford ( 1933-34?) woody station wagon  in the rain /wet/mud reminded me of a trip to Hershey 30 + years ago in my 1941 Packard 120 wood wagon for their annual Fall meet. It was when there still was a Blue flea market field. A friend and I drove down from long island in rain, heavy at times with no issue. Got to the field and decided to park on a friends spot which was most welcome. We went to get out of the car and my friend couldn't open his door. Looked at me and said guess I locked it somehow , what do I do? I told him nope it isn't locked the wood swelled up due to the rain and it won't open until it drys out a bit. He laughed and thought I was joking until I started to climb over the back of the front seat  into the rear seat and he said " what are you doing?" I told him " we are going out the tail gate as it won't be swollen shut as bad" . He sat there thinking I was joking but I kept going and he then followed me and we did get out. Later that day the sun came out and the doors opened easily. He just shook his head in amazement and looked at me I just shrugged my shoulders............ A few people passing by just stood and watched this happening and smiled and shook their heads - one guy pointed to me who I don't recall his name and to his friends said  "I know him, that's Walt, and I am not surprised at all  to see this" . The rain and some mud got washed off with a hose along with the long loose grass stuck to the bottom of the running boards a day later. True story , good memories of a wonderful car and great annual meet.

Could it be a Minneapolis tricar? Interesting cooling fan and dual chains.

The Léon Bollée tricars were given the nickname Tue Belle-mère (mother-in-law killer)

Yes, it's the governor of Delaware trying out the first brake test machine for the auto inspection line in the state. And, we still use the same system in our inspection lanes today, only, instead of the force driving up red fluid in the glass tubes, the force is recorded and shown on computer screens.

A nice British light car according to Tidning för Idrott (S) where this photo was publized in 1914. Licence plate appears to be issued by the County of Kent

That was riding the wave of the cyclecar era in the U.K. and France.  By 1914, there were around 100 cyclecar manufacturers in Europe.  Their demise came when smaller, and less expensive cars, including the Austin Seven became available in the 1920's.

Sure like to know who did or designed the top, that's different than any Graham Brothers I've ever seen....

That might be a transition from 1923-24 due to the front fenders.
Very interesting...
