Actually, on second look, it's an early 1924 with the old style single-lens taillight; in mid-1924 Pierce adopted the 3-can (separate tail, stop, and backup lights used without change through 1930. 1931-33 used a somewhat different 3-can light. Front wheel brakes began in 1924, although the Company produced a retrofit kit so that your friendly dealer could install front brakes on 1922-23 Series 33 cars.
