We theorized that the car Gooding sold a few years ago might be the Mabeline car as it was in California around WWII.   But it had the sidemounts when Nethecutt got it in the 50s and talking to Chris Charlton who did the restoration there is little chance the beltline molding got changed also.

What is the belt molding difference - not at a dual screen today ?

Actually,  they look like.  Maybe the difference was the built in trunk.

Unless it was more "bolt on" than welded into that would be a serious difference
