John_Mereness
Chip Schofield Pierce-Arrow Society 13 hrs · My great-grandfather was a chauffeur for A.J. Cassatt and his family. Cassatt was president of the Pennsylvania Railroad (and brother of the painter Mary). One of the cars my great-grandfather drove for the Cassatts is pictured below. It looks very similar in style to Woodrow Wilson’s presidential limo which I believe was a 1919 Pierce-Arrow. Cassatt died in 1906, so it would have been his widdow’s car, but I’m curious if anyone has some insight on what model/year this may have been from?
