Can You identify this car?

Could anyone help me with identifying of this car on the Picture?
It's an old Family foto and no one knows what's the car on it.

Hi, thank You for the Tip! it really can be this car. But, why is the bumper curved in this on the Picture?
1948's have all straight bumpers.

It appears to be curved to provide clear access for the starting crank.

I believe these cars were in production for several years prior to 1948 - I believe this one to be somewhat earlier than 1948, thus it would have the curved bumper for starting crank access.

Most became Gassers, Never noticed one with the three grille openings before seeing this photo. Bob

I found it. It's an 1937 model!
Ford 7W Ten.

It may be a 48 Anglia, but don't  judge it by the bumper.  Look closley an you'll see it's a 36 ford bumper cut in half and

bolted it back together when they shortened it to fit the Anglia.

Yup - and some of those old gassers have been resurrected as street rods.

If they get the AACA Certified Race Car clearance they can be on the Hershey and other National meet show fields in class 24-A. Bob
