BFLIT
I have a 1936 Dodge Brothers model LC pickup truck. The serial number places it being built between Nov. 1935 and Dec. 1936. This pickup has two windshield wipers. All the other '36 DB pickups I see on line have a single wiper over the driver side. I know it is possible that someone added a wiper on the passenger side but if they did they did an excellent job. There is no mechanism on the inside of the cab to give me any hints. I guess my question is what year did Dodge start using two wipers on their pickups? Is it possible that was an option for that year? keiser31
Double windshield wipers were an option from about 1930, I believe. I guess someone with parts books could narrow it down.

Alan Cutler
For sure it was an option on all '36-'38 light duty trucks. I am not sure prior to 1936, and John is correct, grab a parts book. Look in the A pillar on the passenger side for a vacuum line from the carburetor follow it up in the roof, there would be a tee above the header panel in the roof.
38rcdodge
Yes my '38 has dual wipers, and has the tee fitting. when I get around to getting the build card it will verify if its factory. I've always assumed so.
