Graham Goetze
I'm currently rebuilding my PA motor and have found two broken cam followers. Any ideas on where I might find replacements would be greatly appreciated. Graham
viv w
I had the same problem with a 1928 Chrysler model 52, the part that rides on the cam is cast iron which is pressed into a hollow steel sleeve. I had one where the cast iron piece broke off while the engine was running, fortunately it did not damage the cam. I recommend you ask an engine rebuild shop to make you a new set out of solid steel. alsancle
There are a few real Pierce experts floating around on the forum. I expect you will get a solid answer. Ed won’t be on here till later in the day but somebody else may answer first.

There's a source of Pierce parts that I can share if poster is looking for that, PM me if that's the case, Plymouth I can't help with...

John_S_in_Penna
That's a reminder to us all not to use jargon, obscure abbreviations, and the like. What seems obvious to one poster might only confuse the next guy. To me, "PA" is the postal sorting code for Pennsylvania! auburnseeker
I actually thought 31 Plymouth PA when I saw the title as well.
Graham Goetze
Thanks Viv. I'll probably go the route of having new cam followers machined from a suitable steel.
