The escutcheon plate and arm design is very very similar to 28 Hudson. I’ll post some pics later on.

Except the 1928 Hudson used the tin escutcheons this is pot metal and the shape not the same ,Thank you but I sell handles and I actually have had the pot metal inside handle that matches the robe rail exact but was never able to ID either the 28 hudson is simlar but not same.see picture

They were most definitely were pot metal for the rob rails in 28 and 29 Hudson. I used the term escutcheon in the wrong place.

Here's more evidence from a 1929 Hudson. The door handle and base plate especially match the robe rail motif.

Those don't match the ones I had on my 29 Hudson. They used an Acorn pattern.

Might be 27 Hudson?

The guys at the Hudson forum say it's 28 Hudson foot rest for rear passengers.

I couldn't easily find a photo.

 

UPDATE - 3/1/20

It's a 1928 Hudson robe rail with the two end grab rails cut off
