Dome Light: 36 Buick Business Coupe

Since this is my first Pre-War project, I am delving into a few details where I have not tread before.  Discussions regarding dome lights have gone two ways. (1) the Series 40 Business Coupe had no dome light, and (2) yes, it did.  Attached is a picture of a dome light associated with a 36 Sedan.  I would like to see some example of what others have done.

Here's what I did on my 35 40 series sedan. I cut off (broke off) the bottom of a cheap outside porch light. I was surprised it was the same diameter. Greg.

I think this lens/trim was used for several years of GM cars, some had off/on thru hole in trim, some controlled by remote switch. Your coupe switch is located on the passenger side just to the rear of door jamb.
