Discussions regarding dome lights have gone two ways. (1) the Series 40 Business Coupe had no dome light, and (2) yes, it did. Attached is a picture of a dome light associated with a 36 Sedan. I would like to see some example of what others have done. I think this lens/trim was used for several years of GM cars, some had off/on thru hole in trim, some controlled by remote switch.
