Display most recent posts first when viewing a thread?

I would prefer to see the most recent posts first when I open a thread.

I have searched this forum and viewed all the account settings, but I can't find a way to do this.

Is there a way to display thread posts "newest first"?

If you click on the little dot or star next to the thread title in the main listing, that will take you to the first unread post in that thread. That way you're not forced to search through a multi-page thread or read backwards--you can just pick up where you left off.
