courtluv0321
Good evening everyone!!!!! I don’t know where to post so I figure I would start here! I was wondering if anyone recognized the grill to this car I I would say it’s from the 60’s. Maybe 50’s idk. It’s been sitting near water for years and I just found it again today. It’s been picked apart but idk why police haven’t done anything! So I’m just doing a little investigating on my own. It’s a baby blue color, I tried including second picture of color but it was saying file is too big. Thank you!!!!! See pictures attached!
1939_Buick
We need more pic's and that grass taken away. Try making the pic smaller and into another post. Old dumped cars are not usually a police issue. More of local government/county problem if on public land
courtluv0321
Thank you for replying!!!! If it’s an old dumped car which my dad told me awhile back it may be-haven’t shown him pictures yet-he owned a shop and retired over 15 years ago that puts my mind at ease! I just didn’t want it to be something more ya know? FYI it’s near the Delaware and I live in Jersey. Has no plates...so probably dumped but still I was concerned. It’s really covered. I’ll attach another picture here because it said I exceeded the limit in my last. Thank you!!!!

auburnseeker
I'm surprised Keiser hasn't figured it out yet. 😉 I agree grass needs to be moved away. If that's a grille in the first photo might be able to figure it out from there, though it looks like it might have lost it's battle with a dozer which makes it a little tougher to ID.
Billy Kingsley
Whatever it once was I don't think it is anymore. I am going to guess a 1957 Ford but just a guess.

1937hd45
Looks like the remains of a pickup bed to me. Bob
1912Staver
Lots of old dumped cars still out there. Sometimes they get cleaned up but often they will just sit there until they completely rust away. It does not look like anything usable remains on this one. keiser31
Bumper partially buried looks sort of like a 1964 Impala, but a lot were similar....
Xander Wildeisen
It is a 1951 piece of sh#t.😀 Very rare to find one these days. Pieces of sh#t have been bought by collectors for years. Great find, I would jump on it. But I am dealing with bigger sh#t out here.😉 3 1
Joe in Canada
I am surprised it is not on E Bay for some serious $$$$. Looks like a builder to me being a good as is barn find. I would not even clean it off when showing it like the big auction houses do. .

Junk cars sometimes were embedded in river banks to control erosion - sorta like a retaining wall.
The 55er
Might be what's left of a 1961 Ford Galaxie......hopefully more pictures are coming.
JamesR
You guys are better than me. I'm trying to discern something...anything that looks even car-like in those photos, but I'm not seeing it. Because I'm conspiracy minded, I'm thinking the OP may be trying out some new kind of IQ test on us. Or maybe a Rorschach test. In either case, I fail.
Real Steel
Looks like lawn art to me. Especially if you hate your neighbors.
Real Steel
Its interesting that the original post was at 8 PM on a Saturday night. I had a guy with a happy voice respond to a Craigslist ad at about 8 PM on a Saturday night. I think neither one of us understood what was going on.
The 55er
You have to look at it like Chris Paul & Oscar Nunez do in the "State Farm Nice Moments" TV commercial.

60FlatTop
My second cousin (great uncle's daughter) had similar plants. She kept a 1932 Ford Victoria in hers.
