Stude17
Looks like a circa 1912 overland but no duck bills on front guards?
keiser31
Looks like it has tire chains on the rear.
Chris Paulsen
Is it a 1911 Kissel?
sagefinds
Pretty stern-looking bunch. Wonder what their day was like before they got to the picture taking point?
JACK M
I suspect the torn up RR tire could have something to do with the attitude. Maybe they are waiting for triple A. Edited February 4, 2020 by JACK M (see edit history)
gossp
They are going to have to wait until 1915!

In those days, it was common to see frowns or very serious facial expressions, especially on children because everyone had to sit still for a prolonged exposure of the film. Remember "film"? ron hausmann
All - so far its looking like the car is a 1911 Kissel model F1. Round front fenders vs slanted were on those Kissels. At least it’s very similar to web images since none of that year and model survived. Ron Hausmann
