keiser31
From another site, this frame seems like maybe a truck frame. What do you think? https://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/threads/mystery-frame-what-is-it.1181826/ Edited January 26, 2020 by keiser31 (see edit history)
JACK M
That steering makes me think it is supposed to be towed. But I do see engine mounts.

I am pretty certain the frame was used on a farm or as a wagon to be towed. That is a homemade swivel assembly from what I see. A steel plate was added to the front axle and the swivel unit incorporated. With all of those leaves on the springs and no rear rise in the frame, I was thinking truck. keiser31
The rear two cross braces were yanked and bent. I am pretty sure they should be straight. Edited January 26, 2020 by keiser31 (see edit history)
nzcarnerd
Have a look at the far rear end of either side frame rail. It may have a number stamped there. Might have to run a wire brush or something over it to make it visible.

keiser31
It was possibly identified as a 1925 or so Star/Durant frame with a different front axle. Edited January 26, 2020 by keiser31 (see edit history)
