John DePrey
Working on the ignition switch for my folks' 32 St Regis. Marked 534X. I was able to dismantle and clean the switch, but the coil windings are open... Anyone got a working replacement for sale, or suggestion? starlightcoupe
I sent the coil/switch from my '33 Rockne to KM Lifestyle and they totally rebuilt it. Works perfect; good for another eight decades. http://mykmlifestyle.com/
Gary_Ash
I have a coil with key switch from a 1932 instrument panel. It is marked 937X. I put my ohm-meter on the coil connections, didn't get any continuity but that may be because the switch is in the off position. Could that be your problem, as well? I don't have a key to this coil, no key code markings on it - unless S1154 is the code, stamped opposite the 937X. Let me know if you are interested in this coil. The Free Wheeling indicator and buzzer are also available.
John DePrey
Gary thanks but if theres no continuity then windings are shot. All the switch does is connect power to the other 2 terminals, see pic attached.
