Door Bumper

Recommended Posts

Does anyone know of a source for this type of door bumper?  They are common on wood-framed bodies from the twenties.  I need both the metal shells and the rubber inserts.  I can fabricate them if I need to, but thought I would query this group for an off-the-shelf source first.  Thanks.

What does it fit in car - lots of knowledgeable people here - correct your listing to reflect make of car too  ?

Perhaps a rubber store servicing commercial business and a drill press and grinder. And you can order metal in a square and cut or can bend in a brake. Also, see what the Model A for places have.

A lot of cars used these. I also need some of both of them for my 26 chrysler touring and 26 Nash Advanced 6 touring. If you look carefully at Andrew's picture, the rubber part on the right hand side actually has a slight step in it.

Check Model A parts suppliers. They have various sizes. I used some on my REO’s. Modified slightly and work just fine.
