What is this What is this TEENS CHASSIS? - Unusual side springs and motor.

Ok , can anyone ID the vintage and make of this chassis? Im guessing its about mid to upper  teens.  Thank you! Mike West 585 738 1541

Cantilever rear springs and four wheel brakes suggest 1924 or later 1920s Buick. Not sure about the different though. Did you measure the wheelbase?

From a further check it is obviously not a Buick.

 

Is that the remains smallish overhead valve four cylinder engine?  perhaps look for an engine number or casting marks.

 

Another feature is that it has the remains of wood wheels.

 

It looks as if there is extra junk in the chassis photos which confuses the issue.

 

Is there a maker's name. and or model number, on the carburettor?

Sorry I haven't seen that car personally. I only posted the pictures I just received. I have a friend that is local to the chassis that is going to inspect it. It may be the back of the frame has been cut off for a special at one time or the other. y friend is going to check if the bolts are metric or English as well. The rig may not be US built...
