Selim
Where can I buy shock absorbers for my Buick super 1949?!
Rusty_OToole
You may not need to. Have you tried filling them with hydraulic jack oil or motorcycle fork oil? Clean off the top there should be a hex plug that unscrews allowing you to top up the fluid. They are supposed to use "Knee Action Fluid" but the stuff has not been made for years.

Rusty Heaps
If that doesn't work, you may wish to have them rebuilt. I had the shocks on my '46 Chevrolet rebuilt by Apple Hydraulics. Good job and good turn around time, not cheap, but you get what you pay for. I'm pleased with the quality of their work and certainly recommend them.
